Mac An Fhailghigh
Mac an FHAILGHIGH—VII—MacAnally, MacEnally, MacInally, MacNally, Manally, Canally, Nally, etc.; 'son of the poor man' (Irish 'failgheach'); compare with de Paor; a Mayo surname borne by a family of Welsh or Norman origin; also common, in the 16th century, in many parts of Ulster and Leinster. In the North, it is apt to be confused with Mac Conuladh, which see.
